What should I do if I get home and decide I don't like my menu?

Call or e-mail your therapist immediately. With your input we can alter the menu to
better suit your current condition and needs.

Should I continue to see my massage therapist, chiropractor etc.?

Most people find that Egoscue therapy helps them get even better results from
    message therapy and chiropractic treatment.

Is Egoscue any different from Pilates or Yoga?

The Egoscue technique is different from Yoga and Pilates in several ways.

The excercises are tailored to the individual's posture, body mechanics and the
sources of individual issues that are discovered by examination and testing.

Your Egoscue therapist will spend time with you going over your issues as well as
the goals you wish to achieve.

What will happen during my appointment?

First you and your therapist will have a discussion about the pain you are
    experiencing.

Some basic movement tests will be given as your therapist observes your body in
motion to uncoverwhat is contributing to the pain you are experiencing.

Photographs are taken from four angles in order to establish basic posture
alignment and to monitor your on-going progress.

The appoinment usually lasts one to two hours.

    Do you accept insurance?

At this time, the Egoscue technique is rarely covered under normal medical
insurance plans. However, talk to your employer or insurance provider about health
reimbursement programs such Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Saving
Accounts (HAS) which have been known to cover similar therapies.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please wear or bring with you sneakers, close fitting shorts that show your bare
knees and a close-fitting tank top of a different color from your shorts. The key is to
wear clothing that will help the therapist see the outline and alignment of your
    body.
